SELF RESPECT

SUPPORT OVER SELF-RESPECT

It is tough to live without any support in any field when we are alone, if our views differ from everyone but do we really need support.

Sometime we expect a lot from everyone but we get nothing, infact we lose our way.

As a result we lose the purpose of doing anything which is beneficial for us.

We tend to loose our way in the dark highway with no light to follow. Thus we feel depressed and as a result we think ourselves weak and thus we are unable to respect the God hidden inside all of us.

We should never loose hope even if we don’t get proper support to practice any spiritual or anything for the purpose of growth of mankind.

We should never look back, when nothing works, the calmness of mind works.

In the dark highway, if we have patience, then something along the highway is going to ignite a spark with extraordinary amount of light, and will make us feel better.

I am telling this to the reader because it was my past experience, I went into this dark highway and was depressed, it was the calmness of my mind that helps me to recognize this light.

Let us take an example of modern city, how spirituality can be implemented for the growth of mankind.

Suppose you are with your friends talking to each other and you are in a bus.

You all are having fun eating some food material as a result of which after sometime when you all finish it off, the material wrapper was thrown down and suppose you are the one who are blessed with the mission for the growth of mankind, you stop your friend to throw it, as a result they make fun of you and in front of everyone you pick the wrapper and keep it in your pocket or baggage to throw it into a dustbin.

Some people may think that you don’t have any self-respect but the reality is the opposite.

You might be a fool according to majority of people watching you but those who have seen you might realize it in future and as a result some of them may start the same practice as you did, in such a situation, this thinking you can get only after the calmness of mind (infinite patience).

Even if one person out of everyone there follows you in future, then you can get tremendous amount of respect from the God hidden inside you.
So you can also follow the principle of spirituality provided you are honest in whatever you do. It will be tough for you in the beginning, but you should never forget that for getting honest respect from God there is always hurdles.

The fruit after such hurdles have more sweetness than any sweet in the universe.
I am trying to tell you about self-respect, the maximum amount of it a person can get only from God hidden inside all of us. So if you get respect from there then there is no need for any materialistic respect which doesn't have any cause for the growth of mankind.

I am not forcing you to follow spirituality it is always your wish.

Conclusion:-Why are we shy of doing good things?

Those who are already doing such thing will get respect and those who may not have done this earlier
, i believe they will at least start thinking.

This aricle is awesome and very soothing too. It gives a sort of booster dose to all who are already
dosuch things(like picking up the litter or preventing people to throw it in public places).Thanks.

thankyou sayali and annonymous for reading my article..
sayali it is not just picking up wrapper the same case applies when you want to close the tap water in public places..
or closing electricity light in any govt. office..or anything..where you have selfless motive.....
according to me, this giving without expecting nothing in return is what spirituality is all about /.

I totally agree with you and I too have gone through the same things. Whenever possible i try to do things that i believe in, be it the example of throwing wrappers or arranging chairs in office. But i admit that I do'nt do it 100% of times and when i do'nt do it there is a feeling of guilt. At times i feel that if we keep on doing it all the time, when will others understand the value of it..drawing the line between you doing it yourself all the time and discplining others or making them value is difficult.

Sorry the English, because I use an automatic translator.
When each one recognizes in himself the divinity, everything transforms and the world becomes better, more colored and illuminated. Congratulations Vishal, you knew that and be already in the way to the begun!

wel vishal it feels as if ur article is not only about self-respect but much more than that...
i think a human being is not afraid of doing good things its just that he/she thinks so much about him/herself that he forgets to take care of the other person walking beside him/her...not only this v r afraid of doing certain things like the example u gave just b'coz v know v'l b made fun of...
v all have blocked r thinking by not considering what is good-bad, right-wrong...according to us only that thing is right or good which contains r benefit...

You have narrated your ideas..Keep it up..

Take care

kudos to you vishal... in this day and age thats the least we can do.. i like ur interpretation of wat spirituality is.... most of the time its our inhibitions which keep us from doing good... and yes in little things we can see god... and every good action brings us closer to god...

Hello vishal,
Really mind blowing. That ia so very true. Many times we will be knowing what the right thing is, but we are so very much society conscious that we just ignore things. Your article is so powerful. Everyone should read this and help themselves.
Well done.

your article is marvellous i hope it reaches the maximum number of people according to me 1 should not bother of wat others think and let themselves to do what they want and ignore others i no its difficult at first but as the journej begins the person gets used to do what he/she wants to do rather than gettin moulded by others brain
